Thanks for stopping by. Big Sur is one of the most beautiful places I have ever run. The half marathon is along Monterey Bay and the scenery is stunning! I ran the Big Sur 21 miler last April, and it is the same route as the marathon, it just starts at mile 5. Although I have driven that route many times, I appreciated it even more on foot.
